Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

In short: Unlike Things has no accounts, chat or social features, and never asks players for their name, email, phone number, photos or precise location. Your game progress stays on your device. Version 0.4.4 has no in-app purchases or Firebase crash reporting. The game uses Google AdMob for child-directed advertising, with limited technical data described below.

This policy explains how the Android game Unlike Things (package id.kampung.unlikethings), made by Antasena Lab (“we”, “us”), handles information. It applies to the app only.

1. Information stored only on your device

The game saves these items on the device so it works offline. We cannot see them, and they are not sent to us:

App data is excluded from Android cloud backup. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage, deletes all of it.

2. Service providers and the data they receive

Google AdMob (ads for free players)

Players may see an ad after choosing Next on a finished puzzle (at most two a day), and may choose to watch an optional rewarded ad for one extra level. Every ad request is marked as directed to children (child-directed treatment), limited to content rated G and non-personalized. We do not use interest-based advertising or remarketing. We removed the Android advertising ID permission, so the game does not access that ID.

According to Google, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the device’s IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), interactions such as app launches, taps and ad views, diagnostic and performance information, and an app set ID. Google uses this to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

The game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to show any ad privacy choices required in your region. A grown-up can reopen those choices from the PIN-protected Grown-up area.

All data sent by the providers above travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). The providers may process it in countries other than yours, under their own safeguards.

4. Children’s privacy

Unlike Things is made for families, including children. The game does not ask children for personal information and has no way for players to talk to others or share content. Reminders and ad privacy choices sit behind a parent PIN. The limited technical data in section 2 supports contextual ads and their measurement. We do not use it to build interest-based advertising profiles. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s information and request deletion of information we hold, subject to any required retention.

5. Your choices and deleting data

6. Data retention

The app has no purchase or crash-report records. Google retains ad-related data under its own retention policies. You can contact us about support records or privacy requests; local game data is deleted by clearing storage or uninstalling.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve the request, and keep them only as needed for support and applicable legal duties. Please do not send a parent PIN, passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary information about a child.

7. Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes affecting children will be explained here before they take effect.
